Centre Wildlife Care (CWC), in association with the Penn State Pre-Vet club and the SRUA (Students for the Responsible Use of Animals), is hosting the eleventh annual "Wild About Animals" event on April 3rd. This event is an animal expo, where 2000-3000 people attend. It features a variety of animal-related organizations such as veterinarians, rescue groups, petting zoo, environmental groups, etc. with an emphasis on wildlife. Among the events scheduled are a silent auction, raffle, Easter games, children's section, educational programs, pony rides and lots of interesting animals from CWC and other participants including a camel.
The "Wild About Animals" event is an outreach and fundraising event for Centre Wildlife Care. CWC is a non-profit, 501c3 organization that provides licensed professional care to orphaned and injured wild animals until they can be released back into the wild. CWC is a volunteer-based organization that is funded primarily by donations. Your donation is tax deductible. We need your help!
